Common Questions
-
When should I reach out to you?The earlier, the better! Home birth midwives offer a very personalized quality of care. For this reason, we accept only a few people within our 4 week due date windows. Once our capacity is met, we can no longer accept people with the same due date range.
-
Do you accept insurance? We are now in network with Cigna and Aetna, with other contracts pending. If we are not in network you may be eligible for reimbursement.
-
How much is a home birth? This is always a very important question to ask. I believe in full transparency and it is not by mistake that prices are not listed on the website. Because we offer individualized care, the cost of service will be unique depending on the individual client's needs. This is best explained during our initial consultation call.

Do you offer TOLAC?Unfortunately, I am unable to support those planning to labor after a previous cesarean section. As a certified nurse midwife, the insurance I carry does not allow me to offer this service at this time. If you've had a previous cesarean and are hoping to have a home birth, still reach out and I am happy to connect you with someone!

Have a question that's not listed? No question is a bad question. We want you to ask all your questions to make sure you can get accurate answers. Please reach out with any other questions you may have.
